Three Halton residents are among 10 people arrested in connection with a Peel Regional Police investigation into a series of violent carjackings and high-end vehicle thefts across the Greater Toronto Area.
20-year-old Ekamveer Randhawa and 19-year-old Tayvien Coley, both of Halton Hills, and 21-year-old Parth Sharma of Oakville were arrested and charged in September following coordinated search warrants conducted as part of Project High Guard.
The investigation examined 21 incidents between June 2025 and April 2026. Police say some involved knives and firearms being brandished, victims being physically assaulted and, in certain cases, severe injuries.
Investigators allege the crimes were connected to a coordinated criminal network involved in planning and directing robberies, targeting vehicles and recruiting younger offenders.
Across the investigation, police laid 128 charges and recovered 15 stolen vehicles valued at approximately $1.4 million. Officers also seized four illegal firearms, along with ammunition and magazines.
The other individuals arrested include four men from Brampton, one man from Mississauga and two 17-year-old youths, one from Brampton and one from Mississauga.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Robbery Bureau at 905-453-2121, extension 3410.
