Witnesses are needed after a hit-and-run collision left a pedestrian with serious injuries in Burlington.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says it happened on Wednesday, October 7th, at around 11:25 p.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a westbound vehicle on Fairview Street, just east of Brant Street.
The adult male pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
According to investigators, the collision occurred in the right, curbside lane of Fairview Street. The vehicle did not remain at the scene and was last seen travelling westbound at a high rate of speed.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a dark-coloured, compact SUV. The driver and passenger were both described as males, approximately 20 years old.
