The Milton Menace had their second of two games scheduled for the 2026 OJHL Governors’ Showcase on Tuesday, October 6th.
They took on the Lindsay Muskies at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls.
It was Milton that scored first. Josh Currie, Jason Zhou, and Cam Lang all found the back of the net in the first period. Lindsay would get one back to make it 3-1 heading into the first intermission.
In the second period, Currie would get his second of the game, this time it was on the powerplay. That gave the Menace a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes of action.
Don William Bristol continued his strong start to the season, adding his 7th of the year in the first minute of the third period. The Muskies would eventually get their second of the game, but Lang would quickly respond soon after. It was a 6-2 win for the Menace when it was all said and done.
Austin McKillop was back in net for the Menace. He had a strong showing, stopping 26 of 28 shots for the .928% save percentage and the win.
The Menace have returned home and will get ready for their next match-up. That’s scheduled for Friday, October 9th at the Milton Memorial Arena. They take on the Caledon Admirals. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
