The Milton Menace are currently in Niagara Falls as part of the 2026 OJHL Governors’ Showcase.
They’re playing two games at the Gale Centre while they’re there, with the first of which being played on Monday, October 5th against the Stouffville Spirit.
Don William Bristol and Chris Soares opened the scoring in the first period, giving the Menace a quick 2-0 lead heading into the first intermission.
In the second period, Cameron Lang added to the score, making it 3-0.
The Spirit would get on the board late in the third, but that would just open the door for Nathan Catalano to score an empty netter with ten seconds to go. It ended up as a 4-1 win for Milton.
Austin McKillop continues to be the ironman between the pipes for the Menace. He stopped 29 of 30 shots, giving him a stellar .967% save percentage and the win.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Menace as they hit the ice against the Lindsay Muskies on Tuesday, October 6th. Game time at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls will be at 4:00 p.m.
