Milton residents who want to cast their ballot before Election Day can soon take advantage of advance voting in the 2026 Municipal Election.
Advance voting will be available Monday, October 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Tuesday, October 13th through Thursday, October 15, voting hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Advance voting locations include:
- Beaty Branch Library at 945 Fourth Line
- Milton Leisure Centre at 1100 Main Street East
- Milton Sports Centre at 605 Santa Maria Boulevard
- Nassagaweya Tennis Centre and Community Hall at 9267 Guelph Line
- Sherwood Community Centre at 6355 Main Street West
Eligible voters can vote at any of Milton’s advance voting locations, regardless of which location is most convenient to them.
To vote in the 2026 Municipal Election, residents must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old, and either a Milton resident, a property owner or tenant in Milton, or the spouse of someone who owns or rents property in Milton. Voters must also not otherwise be prohibited from voting by law.
Voters are reminded to bring their voter notification card along with identification showing their name and address. Those who have not received a voter notification card can still vote by providing identification that includes their name and Milton address.
Election Day is Monday, October 26th.
