A 65-year-old Kitchener man is facing 12 criminal charges following an investigation into a series of break-ins, including one at an unoccupied residence in the Campbellville area of Milton.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that on the evening of September 4th, a suspect broke into the Milton residence by using a ladder to access a second-level patio door before ransacking the home for valuables.
During the investigation, officers with the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau identified Robert Cybulski as a suspect and determined he was also allegedly responsible for multiple break-ins in Cambridge and Elora.
Cybulski was arrested at his Kitchener residence on September 22nd and has been charged with:
- Break and Enter (7 counts)
- Disguise with Intent (5 counts)
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Investigators have identified the vehicle allegedly used during the break-ins as a 2016 black Honda Accord. Police believe there may be additional break-ins connected to the investigation.
