The Town of Halton Hills is temporarily extending limited access to select grass baseball diamonds to support local youth sports tryouts and training.
Permitted access is available at Eighth Line Park, Hornby Park and Trafalgar Sports Park for school and local youth sport activities.
A Town permit is required for any use of the baseball diamonds at these locations.
The Town had previously announced that all grass sports fields and baseball diamonds would be closed until late April 2027 for seasonal maintenance. The closure allows the fields to rest during the wettest time of the year, when they are more susceptible to damage, while parks staff complete maintenance work.
The temporary extension applies only to the specified baseball diamonds and permitted school and local youth sports activities.
