The Milton Menace are on a roll defensively!
The boys went into King to take on the Rebellion on Wednesday, September 23rd. They were fresh off a pair of weekend wins that include a 4-0 shutout over Georgetown on Sunday. Read more here.
Things got off to a slow start against the Rebellion, with the first period nearly finishing before the first goal was scored. Milton’s Brody Leet potted his 1st of the year with 21 seconds remaining on the clock. It was assisted by Quinlan Clair and Gavin Sheehan. The Menace led 1-0 after 20 minutes.
No scoring would occur in the second or third period, despite King putting the pressure on. Milton would hold off, clinching the 1-0 shutout win.
Once again, Austin McKillop was in net for the Menace. He stopped all 32 shots he faced, giving him his second straight shutout and the win.
The Menace return home on Friday, September 25th to take on the Burlington Cougars. Game time at the Milton Memorial Arena is set for 7:30 p.m. Follow the game here.
