Milton residents can look forward to a lineup of music, magic, comedy and family entertainment as the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton launches its 2026-27 season this fall.
The season begins with The Psychology of Cults on October 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Hosted by cult interventionist Mike King, the live experience explores how cults form, why people are drawn to them and what it takes to break free, using storytelling and real-life case studies.
On October 25th at 2:00 p.m., Canadian magician and illusionist Chris Funk brings Redefining Wonder to the stage. Funk, who has appeared on America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us, combines music and illusion in the performance.
Matthew Good and his Band perform November 14th at 8:00 p.m., joined by a string quartet led by cellist Kevin Fox. The show features stripped-down solo performances alongside orchestrated arrangements.
Comedy takes the stage November 28th at 7:30 p.m. with Girls Nite Out, an all-female comedy troupe featuring award-winning Canadian performers.
The Men of the Deeps – December Coal Christmas Show follows on November 29th at 2:00 p.m. The performance features songs and stories, new arrangements of old favourites and original pieces, along with special guest Jenn Sheppard.
Local singers will also have an opportunity to take the stage through Milton Sings, an all-ages showcase presented by Can You Sing Canada. Auditions are being held October 4th from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton. Selected performers will perform with a live band on April 29th, 2027.
Tickets are now available. Residents are encouraged to secure seats early.
