The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is inviting students and families to explore secondary school opportunities across the region during a board-wide open house in Milton this weekend.
It’s designed for students in Grades 6 to 10 and their families, offering an opportunity to learn more about programs and pathways, academics, athletics, clubs, community and support services, and student life at HDSB secondary schools.
Representatives from the new Oakville secondary school, which is scheduled to open in September 2027, will also be on hand. The school will be home to the HDSB’s first regional sports program, the Academy for Athletic Performance and Excellence. Learn more here.
The open house will feature hands-on activities, student-led booths and opportunities for families to connect directly with staff and students.
Families interested in attending are asked to complete a registration form and select a preferred attendance time slot. Parking is free but limited, and time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
The interactive Secondary School Open House takes place Saturday, September 26th, at Craig Kielburger Secondary School, located at 1151 Ferguson Drive in Milton.
