Downtown Milton will transform into a car lover’s paradise this weekend as the annual See You in September Car Show returns to Main Street.
Hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area, the event runs from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th. It will feature more than 100 classic and unique vehicles along Main Street East, along with music and open patios.
The evening will include balloon twisting, face painting and a kids’ scavenger hunt. Live entertainment will be provided by the Starlite Dreamers, Rick Imus Music Studio, DJ Rockin’ Rob and Halton Music Project.
Attendees can vote for their favourite vehicle in the People’s Choice Award, while judges will select winners for Top Foreign Car and Top Domestic Car.
Children participating in the scavenger hunt will have a chance to win a $100 gift card to a Downtown Milton business of their choice. Visitors who make a purchase at a participating downtown business during the event can also bring their receipt to the BIA Welcome Centre at 251 Main Street East for a chance to win a prize.
This year’s car show is also supporting Run for Milton, a walk, jog and run event benefiting the Milton District Hospital Foundation. Run for Milton takes place the following morning, Sunday, September 13th, at Milton Community Sports Park.
Several road closures will be in effect from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., including:
