The Milton Public Library (MPL) is inviting children to share what the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation means to them through a special activity.
September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. To acknowledge the day, the library is asking children to complete a t-shirt template by sharing their thoughts about what Orange Shirt Day means to them.
T-shirt templates can be picked up from the information desk at any of the library’s three branches. Once completed, children are asked to return their templates to the information desk, where the shirts will be displayed at their local branch:
- Main Branch – 1010 Main Street East
- Sherwood Branch – 6355 Main Street West
- Beaty Branch – 945 Fourth Line
The activity runs through Wednesday, September 30th.
