16 graduating students from Halton District School Board secondary schools are being recognized for outstanding academic achievement after earning the 2026 Governor General’s Academic Bronze Medal.
The award is presented annually to the graduating student with the highest academic standing at each HDSB secondary school.
Milton’s recipients include:
- Zain Fecto (97.47%) – Craig Kielburger Secondary School
- Bryan Peart (98.12%) – Elsie MacGill Secondary School
- Prabhleen Soni (98.75%) – Milton District High School
The highest average among this year’s HDSB recipients was 100%, achieved by Kallem Manning of M. M. Robinson High School in Burlington.
The HDSB says the medals recognize the students’ dedication, perseverance and commitment to learning throughout their secondary school careers.
