Crime Stoppers of Halton is inviting car enthusiasts, families and community members to its second annual Family Car Show this weekend.
The event is hosted with Canada First Home Fortification. It will bring vehicle owners and the community together while raising awareness about auto theft, driving safety and organized vehicle crime.
Vehicle owners can showcase their cars by making a donation of their choice to Crime Stoppers of Halton. Funds raised will support crime prevention programs, co-op placements and community safety initiatives across the region.
The event will also highlight the role residents can play in preventing and reporting crime, including remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activity.
The Family Car Show runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 15th at the Halton Regional Police Headquarters, located at 2485 North Service Road West in Oakville.
