A 42-year-old Oakville resident is facing charges after being stopped for allegedly travelling at nearly twice the speed limit.
The Halton Regional Police Service says it happened at around 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12th along Upper Middle Road at Dorval Drive, where pedestrians and cyclists are also present.
The vehicle was impounded for 14 days, the driver received a 30-day licence suspension, and a court date was issued.
