The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested three people and recovered three stolen vehicles following the theft of a Toyota Sequoia from a Milton dealership.
Officers responded to Milton Toyota at 1245 Steeles Avenue East on July 21st after the Sequoia was reported stolen from the property during the early morning hours.
Investigators located the stolen Toyota on July 22nd at a location in North York, where it was found inside a shipping container.
Police also recovered a stolen Toyota Tundra and Honda CR-V, both reported stolen from the Greater Toronto Area.
As a result of the investigation:
66-year-old Joel Hinson of Brampton has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 (3 Counts)
37-year-old Bright Mensah of Brampton has been charged with the following:
- Possesion of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 (3 Counts)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
34-year-old Isaac Boamah of North York has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 (3 Counts)
Each accused was released on an Undertaking with a future court date in Milton.
