The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is asking your help in identifying a pickup truck and its driver following a hit-and-run collision that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Milton.
The collision happened at around 4:00 p.m. on June 24th at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and Etheridge Avenue. Investigators allege a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck struck a motorcycle while making a left turn onto Etheridge Avenue before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed without stopping.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are attempting to identify the pickup truck and its driver. Investigators say the grey Toyota Tacoma has black rims, a roof rack, and would have sustained damage to the passenger side as a result of the collision.
Anyone with information about this vehicle or its driver, or who may have dash cam or CCTV footage of the area, is asked to contact Constable Emily Kolodziejczak at 905-825-4777 ext. 7490.
