Milton's GO station building
GO Transit is advising riders of temporary service changes in Milton due to overnight maintenance and nearby construction affecting access to Milton GO Station.
On Saturday, July 4th, the Milton GO bus loop will be closed from 12:40 a.m. to 4:40 a.m. while traffic signal repairs are completed.
During the closure, all eastbound and westbound GO buses that normally depart from Milton GO Station will be rerouted. Passengers are asked to use the bus stop at Drew Centre at Thompson Road South instead.
GO Transit notes the overnight closure could be rescheduled if weather or other unforeseen circumstances affect the work.
A second service change begins Monday, July 6th, when the Drew Centre bus stop will be temporarily out of service due to construction taking place west of Thompson Road.
While the stop is closed, GO buses will once again arrive and depart from the Milton GO bus loop. Eastbound and westbound buses will detour after leaving the station.
Construction is expected to be completed sometime this month, although GO Transit once again says the schedule may change depending on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
