The Milton Menace continue to add talent to their roster ahead of the start of training camp this summer.
It was shared last week that forward Don William Bristol and defenceman Kieran McNally are coming to Milton. Read more here.
There will be a few more names joining them as the Menace have announced the signings of forwards Cam Lang, Nole Faulkner, Evan Berrigan, Wyatt Mckellar, and goaltender Liam Karbowski.
Lang, a Burlington-native, joins the Menace after spending the last two seasons with the OJHL’s Caledon Admirals. He was able to score an above point-per-game (PPG) pace, potting 21 goals and adding 32 assists in 51 games played. That put him in second-place among the team’s scoring.
Faulkner is another OJHL veteran, coming to Milton by way of the Lindsay Muskies. He took a serious jump in production last season, scoring 17 goals with 24 assists over 50 games played. That put him in 3rd place on the team’s scoring. At 6’2″, 190lbs, Faulkner was also a physical force, collecting 141 penalty minutes on the season.
As for Berrigan, he will be joining the Menace by way of the Halton Hurricanes U18 team and the GOJHL’s Caledonia Corvairs. The freshly turned 17-year-old was a top scorer for the local AAA varsity team, leading the team with 21 goals and adding 16 assists in his 32 games played. He will try to grow and develop with a retooled Menace roster.
Kitchener’s Mckellar is actually joining the Menace following a tour down south. He spent the last two season’s playing for Buffalo’s Nichols School in the United States High School Prep league. He was the team’s top forward, scoring 20 times with 48 assists in 56 games played. Standing at 6’1″ and 190 lbs, Mckellar will be aiming for a top spot in the Menace line-up.
Last but not least, Karbowski is a young goaltender who has a chance to make the Menace at just 16-years-old. He spent last year with the Toronto Nationals U18 AAA team and put together a stellar a 1.78 goals against average.
The Menace are around two months away from hitting the ice for training camp, with the regular season set to begin in September.
