Milton residents will soon have another way to cool off this summer as the outdoor pool at Rotary Park opens for the season this weekend.
Located at 100 Garden Lane, the facility features both a lap pool and a play pool equipped with spray features for families and recreational swimmers.
The pool will operate on modified hours during its opening week. It will be open from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st, followed by evening-only hours from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. between Monday, June 22nd and Friday, June 26th.
Regular summer hours begin Saturday, June 27th. The pool will operate Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., although weekday hours will be reduced to 6:00 p.m. in August. Weekend hours will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The facility offers a variety of drop-in programs, including aquafit classes, recreational swims and lane swims. Residents are encouraged to register online in advance, although on-site payment will be available by debit or credit card.
In addition to the outdoor pool, Milton’s splash pads are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. throughout the summer season.
