Main Street will be transformed into a pedestrian-friendly destination this weekend as the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (BIA) launches its new Summer Saturdays event series.
They’re hoping to create space for residents and visitors to explore local businesses, enjoy outdoor experiences, and take part in community activities.
It will feature sidewalk sales from downtown merchants, open-air seating areas, demonstrations, games and a variety of interactive activations throughout the day.
The Downtown Milton BIA says the goal is to create a seamless transition from the popular farmers’ market into a full day of shopping, dining, entertainment and community engagement in the downtown core.
Performers, community groups, and businesses interested in hosting activities or demonstrations can apply here.
Summer Saturdays will take place on Saturday, June 20th, and again on Saturday, June 27th, both days running from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. along Main Street in Milton.
