The Town of New Tecumseth is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate Canada Day with an afternoon of family-friendly activities at the Tottenham Conservation Area.
Festivities will take place on July 1st from 4:00 p.m. until dusk at the conservation area, located at 6787 4th Line in Tottenham. The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display.
Mayor Richard Norcross said Canada Day is an opportunity to bring the community together and celebrate what makes New Tecumseth a welcoming and vibrant place to live.
The event will feature live entertainment, community programming, food vendors and a vendor marketplace. Families can also enjoy a Kids Activity Zone with games, inflatables, face painting, glitter tattoos, henna art, roaming mascots and activities hosted by the Town’s recreation team.
A photo booth will also be available for attendees to capture memories from the celebration.
