The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a serious collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist in Oakville.
Officers were notified of the crash on Friday, May 29th, at about 6:51 p.m., in the area of Speers Road and St. Augustine Drive. The collision involved a white sedan and a cyclist.
The cyclist, a 43-year-old man, was transported to an out-of-region trauma centre with serious injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken with police to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at CRU@haltonpolice.ca or 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
