The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs helping in locating a burial monument stolen from a cemetery in Burlington.
It was reported missing on Tuesday, May 26th, from the Lowville United Church Cemetery on Britannia Road. Investigators believe the theft occurred sometime between May 16th and May 22nd.
The stolen monument is described as a large angel statue standing about 4½ feet tall. It is made of cast resin and weighs about 100 pounds.
Anyone who has seen the monument or has information related to the theft is asked to contact the Halton Regional Police Service’s 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2316.
