The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking to identify two male suspects following a fraud case reported in Burlington.
In August 2025, a local Burlington business fell victim to Vendor Payment Change fraud. The first suspect received $42,058.60 as payment and then attended banks, currency exchanges and merchants in the GTA to use the funds. The second suspect attended a currency exchange in Mississauga and received some of the funds from the fraud.
The HRPS has described the suspects as:
- Suspect 1 – Male, Black, 25-30 years-old, 5’8 to 5’10, with a medium build
- Suspect 2 – Male, South Asian, 20-25 years-old, 5’7 to 5’8, with a medium build
