Conservation Halton is set to celebrate Pride Month with the return of Pride in Nature at Mountsberg Conservation Area.
The family-friendly event will feature activities focused on inclusion, education, and the natural environment. Organizers say visitors can take part in interactive programming, live experiences and storytelling throughout the day.
Activities included with park admission will include themed exploration and education experiences, a Pride Activity Zone and the “Birds of ALL Feathers” programming.
Visitors can also purchase a Pride in Nature Fun Pack, available online or on-site at the Mountsberg gift shop. The package includes a pollinator seed kit, meal ticket, Pride in Nature t-shirt and access to a facilitated tie-dye station. Guests are also invited to bring their own white shirts to participate in the tie-dye activity at no additional cost.
Conservation Halton says the event is designed to celebrate both the diversity found in nature and the diversity within the community.
