Toronto Police are searching for an Oakville man in connection with a downtown Toronto robbery investigation.
It happened at around 4:30 a.m. on April 25th, in the area of Bay Street and Adelaide Street West. Investigators allege a victim waiting in line to check into a hotel became involved in a verbal altercation with a group of suspects that turned physical. During the assault, the victim’s personal property was allegedly stolen before the suspects fled on foot.
Investigators say five suspects were involved. Three people have already been arrested and charged with robbery and assault causing bodily harm.
Police have now identified a fourth suspect as 32-year-old Nadeem Ali of Oakville, who is wanted on charges of robbery and assault causing bodily harm.
Ali is described as:
- male
- between 28 and 35 years old
- medium build
- short black spiky hair
- short black beard with medium to long facial hair
- wearing a black puffy jacket with “SUPREME” written across the chest, a black AMIRI t-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident
Investigators are also working to identify an unnamed fifth suspect, described as a thin-built man with a short black beard who was wearing a black BALENCIAGA t-shirt, grey or white hoodie, ripped grey jeans, white sneakers and glasses with thin metallic frames.
