This one time, at band camp…
Bandology has announced experienced music educator Esteban Cambre will join Band Camp Halton this summer as Music Director.
Cambre, who teaches music and directs programs at Appleby College, will take part in the camp running July 20th to July 24th in north Oakville. He also serves as conductor of the Sinfonia and Philharmonia ensembles with the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Bandology says Cambre brings decades of experience in music education, performance, and conducting, including work with ensembles such as Tafelmusik and the Elmer Iseler Singers.
Band Camp Halton will be held at King’s Christian Collegiate in July and again from August 10th to August 14th. Registration is open for students in Grades 1 through 12, with subsidies and instrument loans available for families who need support.
