A driver is facing stunt driving charges after being caught travelling at more than double the speed limit in Oakville.
According to the Halton Regional Police Service, the incident happened on Thursday, April 30th at around 2:00 p.m. on Burnhamthorpe Road near Neyagawa Boulevard, where a work truck was clocked at 123 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
Police say the Brampton motorist was charged with stunt driving.
As a result, the driver received a 30-day licence suspension, a 14-day vehicle impound, and will be required to appear in court.
