An Oakville resident is celebrating a big lottery win after taking home a $250,000 top prize.
72-year-old Gordon R. won the prize playing the Instant Bingo Multiplier game. The retiree said the game is one of his favourites and part of his regular Friday morning routine.
He initially thought the win was a mistake, but after scanning his ticket on the OLG app, he realized he had hit the top prize. He immediately shared the news with his sister.
With his winnings, he plans to upgrade his vehicle.
The winning ticket was purchased at 649 Place on Leighland Avenue in Oakville.
