A local youth group in Milton continues to make a meaningful impact on community healthcare with a recent donation.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association presented a cheque for $8,000 to the Milton District Hospital Foundation on Friday, April 24th. The funds were raised through the group’s 2025 Run for Milton event.
The cheque presentation took place at Milton District Hospital and was attended by several community leaders, including Executive Director Katie McMillan and Board Chair Brian Penman, along with members of the youth association.
Organizers say the donation reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting local healthcare and giving back to the community through fundraising initiatives.
Proceeds from the annual Run for Milton event will continue to go toward supporting hospital needs and enhancing care for patients in the growing Milton community.
