Police Day, 2019
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is inviting the community to mark their calendars for its annual Police Day event in Oakville.
The free, family-friendly event will take place Saturday, May 9th, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at police headquarters, located at 2485 North Service Road West.
Police Day offers residents a chance to connect with officers and learn more about policing in their community through a range of interactive experiences. Attendees can enjoy live music, food, cultural performances and tactical demonstrations, while also meeting the people behind local emergency services.
Organizers say the event is designed to be both educational and entertaining, giving visitors of all ages an inside look at the work being done to keep the community safe.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
