Retention Pond in Milton
Residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and take part in a community clean-up event in Milton next month.
The Ward 2 Cleanup will take place Sunday, May 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Clark Neighbourhood Park (north side of Laurier), bringing together volunteers to help tidy up the local area.
Organizers encourage participants to bring friends, family and even pets for a morning of community involvement. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided, and student volunteer hours are available for those who need them.
All participants are required to complete a waiver and permission form in advance, unless they have already done so earlier this year. Attendees are also advised to wear long pants, long sleeves and closed-toe shoes.
The event is sponsored by SparklingGreen Cleaning Services, and registration is available here.
