The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is offering a Special Education Summer Learning Program for students in Grades 4–12+ this July in Milton.
The program is designed to support students who would benefit from developing functional literacy and numeracy, as well as social and adaptive skills. It will be led by a Special Education Teacher, with additional support that may include a Child and Youth Counsellor, Educational Assistants, and a Behaviour Analyst.
Classes will run from July 6th to July 24th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and will take place at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School.
Registration is open until May 7th, with limited space available. Parents and guardians are encouraged to connect with their child’s Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) for more information and to apply. Applicants will be notified the week of June 1st regarding acceptance or waitlist status.
