The Town of Milton is preparing to celebrate National Youth Week 2026 with a series of events and activities for local youth.
Running from May 1st to May 7th, the initiative is being organized in partnership with the Milton Youth Task Force and will include a variety of free and pre-registered programs aimed at engaging young people across the community. Lead-up activities begin in April, including a Youth PA Day Hack-a-thon on April 24th at the Milton Public Library’s Main Branch.
During Youth Week, events include the Milton Youth Makers Market on May 2nd at Milton Community Park, fitness sessions on May 3rd at the Milton Leisure Centre and Milton National Cycling Centre, and multiple free basketball sessions from May 5th to May 7th at the Milton Sports Centre. Additional programming continues with the PALs Inclusion Program on May 10th at the Milton Sports Centre Youth Space.
Residents are encouraged to follow the MYTF’s Instagram and the Town’s Facebook and X to celebrate Youth Week and congratulate the Milton Youth Award winners when they are announced. For more information about National Youth Week, click here.
