The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is searching for a suspect following a theft and weapons incident at a Milton grocery store.
It happened on Thursday, March 19th at about 12:30 p.m. at the Real Canadian Superstore on Main Street East. Investigators allege a female suspect selected several items, including multiple cuts of meat, and concealed them in a green shopping bag before leaving the store without paying.
When approached by store loss prevention, police say the suspect brandished a can of pepper spray, preventing staff from intervening before she fled the scene.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- white
- female
- approximately 5’7” and 130 pounds
- short black hair
- last seen wearing a black jacket, grey track pants and brown Ugg boots
