The 2026-2027 school year calendar for Halton students has received final approval from the Ontario Ministry of Education.
Both the Halton District School Board (HDSB) and the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) say the calendar was developed with input from a committee that included parents, guardians and employee representatives, with trustees from the two boards approving the dates during meetings held in February.
The calendar outlines key dates for the upcoming school year, including Professional Activity (PA) days when schools will be closed to students, as well as scheduled holidays and breaks.
The first day of school for students is set for Tuesday, September 8th.
