We have the latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).

The map details when and where reported crimes took place in Milton. Between Monday, February 23rd and Monday, March 2nd, there were at least 52 cases of crime took place. Here’s what we found:

Among the 52 potential cases of crime, 19 were roadside tests, nine were hit and run cases, and five were theft cases of various kinds.

With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:
- Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;
- Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;
- Remove valuables from plain view; and,
- Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
