The County of Simcoe is advising residents of service schedule changes for Family Day next week.
There will be no changes to the County’s curbside garbage and organics collection schedule. However, all County Waste Drop-off Facilities, including the Matchedash site, will be closed for the holiday. Residents looking for recycling collection information can click here.
LINX Transit will not operate on Family Day, with the exception of Route 4, which will run on a Sunday schedule. All routes will return to regular service on Tuesday, February 17th. Updated schedules are available here.
The County Administration Centre in Midhurst, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will be closed on Family Day, as will all Ontario Works and Children Services offices. The Simcoe County Archives will also be closed.
The Lake Simcoe Regional Airport will remain open. The Simcoe County Museum will also be open, offering special Family Day programming.
Family Day is taking place on Monday, February 16th.
