The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is hosting a series of Ready, Set, Go! information sessions for parents and guardians of children starting Kindergarten in September 2026.
The sessions will include presentations from Halton Region Public Health and HCDSB staff on preparing children for Kindergarten, with a focus on routines, independence skills and public health updates. Parents will also receive information about before- and after-school programs and have the opportunity to ask questions and speak with board staff and public health nurses.
Sessions will be held at select elementary schools, and families may attend any session regardless of where their child is registered. Dates include:
- Thursday, February 12th ~ 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- St. Anne Catholic Elementary School
- 4675 Doug Wright Drive in Burlington
- Thursday, February 19th ~ 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Elementary School
- 709 Bolingbroke Drive in Milton
- Thursday, February 26th ~ 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- St. Nicholas Catholic Elementary School
- 477 Warminster Drive in Oakville
- Thursday, March 5th ~ 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- St. Brigid Catholic Elementary School
- 73 Miller Drive in Georgetown
Child care will not be provided. Parents must sign up in advance here.
