The Milton Public Library is marking Family Literacy Day with a special in-person storytime event for young readers and their families.
On Sunday, January 25th, award-winning children’s author Lana Button will lead a Family Literacy Day storytime at the Main Library. The drop-in program runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Children’s Program Room and is designed for children aged three to eight, accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
During the session, Button will read from her book One Can, which tells the story of a child who learns about giving, receiving, and the joy of helping others.
The program is free to attend and is open to early years and school-age children. No registration is required, and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
