Stevenson Memorial Hospital has announced the appointment of Deepak Sharma as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Sharma currently serves as Vice President, Strategy and Organizational Performance at William Osler Health System, where he led the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan. His work focused on aligning operational priorities with community health needs and preparing the organization for future system transformation.
Prior to joining Osler, Sharma held several senior leadership roles at North York General Hospital, including Interim Vice President, Strategy, Integration and Health Information. He brings more than 20 years of experience in decision support and business intelligence, with leadership experience spanning large community and academic health-care organizations.
Stevenson Memorial Hospital says Sharma’s background in strategic planning and operational excellence will support the hospital as it enters a significant period of growth and redevelopment, while continuing its mission of providing high-quality care to the communities it serves.
The move will be effective by March 16th.
