Muslim youth in Milton stepped up to help neighbours during recent winter conditions, offering free snow shovelling to seniors and residents with disabilities.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association launched the community initiative amid harsh weather, distributing flyers throughout neighbourhoods to let residents know help was available. On Tuesday, December 23rd, volunteers travelled through various areas of Milton, clearing driveways and walkways for elderly residents who needed assistance.
The effort was warmly received, with residents praising the youth for their kindness and willingness to help during challenging winter conditions. Organizers say the initiative reflects the group’s commitment to community service and supporting vulnerable neighbours.
Seniors or individuals with disabilities in Milton who require snow shovelling assistance can contact the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association at (905) 805-1782.
