An Oakville couple is celebrating after winning the lottery.
William and Janice Dellabough are $75,000 richer after winning a top prize with INSTANT CA$HINGO.
The two have been happily married for 52 years, and play the lottery together weekly.
“It’s our form of entertainment and we like to try out the new games,” Janice shared during their visit to the OLG Prize Centre to collect their winnings. “We have a routine where we get our drinks ready, sit at the kitchen table, and talk about life as we play our tickets. It’s something we’ve been doing for years.”
The pair was astonished when they played their ticket and uncovered their big win.
“At first, we thought we were reading it wrong,” Janice recounted. “I even grabbed my glasses just to be sure. We must have checked it a dozen times before finally accepting we won.”
The retired couple then celebrated together with their dog, Flik.
William and Janice would like to put their windfall toward a nice vacation in Jamaica.
The winning ticket was purchased at On The Go Corner on Laclie Street in Orillia.
