Mapleview Shopping Centre in Burlington is launching Holiday Wonder, a new fundraising interactive toymaking workshop.
The experience can be found on the upper level near Sporting Life. It invites children to craft and customize their own reindeer plush during 20- to 25-minute guided sessions. Organizers say the workshop features immersive elements, photo moments, and other festive touches designed to make the visit memorable.
“We’re delighted to bring this exciting new holiday experience to families at Mapleview Shopping Centre,” says Rita Donnelly, General Manager of Mapleview Centre. “These workshops celebrate creativity, imagination, and the joy of giving back this holiday season.”
It’s running from Friday, December 5th to Tuesday, December 23rd, with all proceeds supporting MacKids.
Mapleview’s annual charity gift-wrapping service has also returned. Find it on the lower level by Guest Services until Wednesday, December 24th, with proceeds also benefiting MacKids. The shopping centre says the service has raised more than $500,000 to date through community support.
