Two Oakville residents are facing charges after an investigation by the Hamilton Police into a large cellphone trafficking operation connected to break-ins at a Stoney Creek warehouse.
Officers with the Hamilton Police BEAR Unit launched the investigation after suspects targeted a T Force Logistics facility in December 2024 and January 2025, stealing a significant shipment of Bell Canada devices.
Working with Bell investigators, police tracked the stolen phones to two GTA businesses: Link It Up in Mississauga at 34 Bristol Road and Amrit Electronics in Etobicoke. Search warrants were executed, and police recovered 183 stolen iPhone 16 Pro Max devices valued between $250,000 and $450,000, nearly $70,000 in cash, 16.5 kilograms of silver bars, corporate SIM cards used to unlock stolen phones, and packages belonging to Bell customers targeted by overseas scam call centres.

45-year-old Puneet Singh
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Trafficking Property Obtained by Crime

- Fraud Over $5000
