The Milton Menace had a busy weekend, and they came out on top in both match-ups.
On Saturday, November 15th, the Menace travelled down the road to take on the Oakville Blades. It was a bit of a revenge game after Milton lost to Oakville last month. Read more here.
It was a pretty dominant game for Milton, as they outshot the Blades 52-15. That offence started early, as Gabriel Ciarallo buried his 8th of the year, assisted by Seth Vreugdenhil and Marco Costante. They’d take that 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
In the second period, Tristan Tremble scored his 7th of the season, assisted by Captain Graeme MacAuley. That was eventually followed up by Ivan Fabjan’s 7th of the year, assisted by Matthew Babiy and Ashtyn Pacheco. It was 3-0 Milton after 40 minutes of action.
Just 19 seconds into the final frame, Nathan Catalano notched his 3rd of the season, with help from Alec Stewart. Oakville would finally get on the board, but Babiy was able to get one of his own, assisted by Costante and Gabe Runco. The Menace would beat Oakville 5-1.
Austin McKillop was in net for Milton. He stopped 14 of 15 shots, giving him the .933% save percentage and the win.

The Menace returned home for a game against the Niagara Falls Canucks on Sunday, November 16th.
Dante D’Andrea opened the scoring in the first period with his 2nd of the year, assisted by Alec Stewart and Marco Costante. It was 1-0 Menace after the first period.
In the second period, Ashtyn Pacheco quickly added to the Menace lead, potting his 12th of the year, with Ivan Fabjan and a red hot Constante being credited with the helpers. Josh Currie then added his 10th of the year, with Tremble and Ciarallo getting assists. The Menace were up 3-0 after 40 minutes.
Pacheco then scored his 13th in the final frame, assisted by Easton Lynds and Fabjan. Niagara Falls would get one late to ruin the shutout bid, but victory was achieved as the Menace beat the Canucks 4-1.
Carter Froggett was in net for the Menace. He stopped 24 of 25 shots for the even .960% save percentage and the win.
The Menace will now travel to King City on Wednesday, November 19th to play the Rebellion. This is the make up game for the one that was postponed recently. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m. at the Zancor Centre.
Milton hosts the Aurora Tigers on Friday, November 21st the Milton Memorial Arena. Game time is listed for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
