The Helson Gallery in Halton Hills is showcasing the Colour and Form Society’s 73rd Annual Open Juried Exhibition for the first time.
The highly anticipated event, held in only one location each year, will feature original works from both members and non-members of the Colour and Form Society, celebrating a wide range of artistic styles, mediums, and cultural influences.
Founded in 1952, the Colour and Form Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in visual arts across Ontario.
An opening reception and awards presentation will take place on Sunday, October 26th, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., where jurors and local artists Stephanie Schirm, Marlene Madole, and Judy Daley will select the top prize winners.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy fine art presented by some of Ontario’s most talented artists,” says Halton Hills Mayor Ann Lawlor.
It’s running until November 30th. The Helson Gallery, located at 9 Church St., is open Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
