Milton residents are being invited to lace up and get involved this winter, as applications are open for the 2025-26 Neighbourhood Rink Program.
Now entering its fourth year, the program supports community groups in creating and maintaining small outdoor rinks in local parks – offering a fun, free, and active way to enjoy the season.
Groups of six or more adults can apply to host a rink, with one designated team leader responsible for coordinating maintenance, flooding, snow clearing, and safety checks. The Town of Milton provides the rink structure and guidance, while volunteers handle day-to-day upkeep.
Applications close Sunday, November 9th, and the Town encourages both returning and first-time volunteers to apply.
