An Oakville man is the latest local lottery winner!
Donald Sullivan was dealt a winning hand in the July 18th POKER LOTTO draw as he matched five of five cards to win a $100,000 prize.
The 67-year-old retiree says he’s been playing the lottery for more than 30 years, and had one very lucky ten month stretch! In September 2024, he took home a whopping $99,091.70 after hitting a Royal Flush on POKER LOTTO ALL IN.
“I didn’t win anything on the INSTANT portion,” he recalled. “That night, I stayed up past midnight and discovered I’d won $100,000 in the nightly draw! It was too late to call friends or go to the store to have my ticket validated, so it was just me, my ticket, and a couple of cold beers.”
When morning rolled around, Donald called two of his friends to share the incredible news.
He plans to save for the future and perhaps buy a new car.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Sixth Line in Oakville.
